A piece of Switzerland by UBS

Commercial | 90 sec | 2025 | HILLTON x JvM
Bank cards are an integral part of countless people's everyday lives. UBS offers a wide range of card solutions and wants to show with five new card designs that “A bank like Switzerland” also offers “Cards like Switzerland”. The new motifs reflect the bank's identity by emphasizing its origins and its ties to its clients in Switzerland.
In spring 2024, a team of mountaineers set off on an expedition. Their destinations were the Matterhorn, the Gastlosen, Lago di Tomè, the Rhine Gorge and the Aletsch Glacier. The group's mission was to preserve the special surfaces of these symbolic places in order to immortalize the uniqueness of Switzerland on the maps. The five map designs were created from the resulting silicone imprints.

Designing a card that tells a story - based on the most typical textures
of Switzerland - is hard to beat in terms of relevance.
